Dendros is pleased to announce the appointment of Jonathan Bucki to help develop SCENCERWest an initiative of the The National Center for Science and Civic Engagement (NCSCE).
NCSCE develops, implements, and evaluates activities and projects that: encourage and strengthen the efforts of colleges and universities to reform undergraduate education, especially in the sciences, technology, engineering, and mathematics; enhance student learning at all educational levels and settings; engage students and campus communities with the pressing civic and social questions; and address important issues of our common health.
With generous support from the W.M. Keck Foundation, NCSCE is expanding it’s Western network. Dendros is honored to be part of this effort to link civic engagement and science education. Dendros will be working through the middle of 2013 with NCSCE, supporting its planning and organization development.
